Sarah E. Kay, Esq., BCS, is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law and Appellate Mediator and a Board-Certified Specialist in Marital & Family Law by The Florida Bar. A Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, she leads Kay Family Law PLLC in Tampa, Florida, where she is known for delivering compassionate, collaborative legal services to families.  In addition to her legal practice, Sarah supports solo and small law firms across Florida through freelance research, writing, consulting, and coaching. Her leadership within the legal community is widely recognized: she has served as Chair of The Florida Bar Family Law Section, President of the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers, and currently contributes to statewide policy and professionalism through her roles on the Florida Supreme Court Steering Committee on Families and Children in the Court and The Florida Bar Standing Committee on Professionalism.  Sarah’s multidisciplinary education—encompassing law, education, business, and specialized certifications in areas such as special education advocacy and trauma-informed care—reflects her deep commitment to ethical leadership, legal innovation, and inclusive practices. She is especially passionate about advancing systems that serve children with special needs.
