Marie-Eve Girard, CPA is a Certified Public Accountant, Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and trained family mediator.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida in 2000. Ms. Girard has over 16 years of experience in Forensic Accounting including family law and business valuations.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
   
Ms. Girard is actively involved in promoting the Collaborative Process and has participated as a Neutral Financial Professional in multiple cases in the Tampa Bay Area.  Ms. Girard is the Co-Chair and a Board Member of Next Generation Divorce, a member of the Tampa Bay Academy of Collaborative Professionals and International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.

For spouses going through the Mediation process, Ms. Girard assists with financial issues and helps resolve the financial aspect of divorce.  Ms. Girard also provides expert witness testimony at trial and deposition.  She is recognized as an expert witness in the in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk and Hernando Counties.

Ms. Girard is originally from Montreal, Canada and moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1995 after being awarded a tennis scholarship at the University of South Florida. While studying at USF, Ms. Girard received multiple awards such as National Dean’s List, Commissioner’s Honor Roll and Scholar Athlete All-American Award. Ms. Girard is bilingual, fluently speaking French and English.
