J. Forrest Young, M.Ed. currently serves as Director for Alternative Dispute Resolution for Florida’s Tenth Judicial Circuit Court. In that capacity he supervises the program’s activities in Polk, Highlands, and Hardee counties for Family and Dependency Mediations. Forrest holds a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of South Florida and post graduate studies in Developmental Psychology and Educational Psychology. His skills are utilized to provide Anger Is Manageable training (AIM Program) and the Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course (Cooperative Parenting) for the Tenth Circuit Family Mediation Department. He is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as both a Family and Dependency mediator.  J. Forrest Young is a former adjunct professor for psychology and the author of Zen and the Art of Psychology and The Gaping Hole in the Universe.
